Data Deletion

Delete SizeWize data or your account.

You can delete selected private data while keeping your SizeWize account, or permanently delete your account and its associated private data.

Delete Data Without Closing Your Account

Sign in to SizeWize and use the controls for the data you want to remove:

  • Tasks: open your ToDo / ToGet list, reveal a task's swipe actions, and choose Delete.
  • Saved items: open your Items & Sizes list, expand the item, and choose its delete control.
  • Owned lists: delete the tasks or items in the list first, then use the list's Delete action and confirm. Lists must be empty before they can be deleted.
  • Templates: open Templates from a list screen, choose the template's Delete action, and confirm. Lists already created from that template are not deleted.
  • Quick Add history: open Profile / Settings and clear Recent Items or Recent Tasks, confirming the selected history. This removes those saved suggestions, not the items or tasks in your lists.

For help requesting data-only deletion, email sonyayllc@gmail.com. State that you want to keep your account and identify the private lists, items, tasks, templates, or recent-entry history you want removed. We may need to verify account ownership and clarify the request. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes.

These actions remove the selected private app records while keeping your sign-in account, profile, and other data you did not select. Template copies and recent-entry suggestions are separate records; delete or clear them separately when needed. Deleting shared list content affects its collaborators, but does not remove independent copies kept by other users. Provider logs, backups, and external records are subject to the retention limits below.

Request Account Deletion by Email

If you cannot access SizeWize or cannot complete deletion in the app, email sonyayllc@gmail.com to request deletion of your SizeWize account and associated private data.

This email request starts a manual account-deletion support process. Be prepared to verify that you own the account. Do not send your password by email.

Delete Your Account in the App

  1. Open SizeWize and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to Profile / Settings.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion. You may be asked to sign in again first.

What Account Deletion Removes

Account deletion removes your Firebase Auth account and private SizeWize data controlled by the app:

  • Your SizeWize user profile document.
  • Your owned ToDo / ToGet lists and tasks.
  • Your owned Items & Sizes lists and saved items.
  • Your private list templates and nested template tasks or items.
  • Your private recent item and task names used for Quick Add suggestions.
  • Your deleted account UID and email from other users' shared-list access arrays, where applicable.

What May Be Retained

Shared app content is not private account data and is not deleted when one user deletes an account. This includes SizeWize Deals, Reviews, Links, managed editorial Review images, and aggregate click counters. Operational logs, provider backups, and records held by external retailers or sign-in providers may also persist according to those providers' policies.

Deleting selected data does not close your account or remove unselected records. Deleted private records are removed from active app storage; this is not a guarantee of immediate erasure from provider backups or operational logs. Those providers control their own retention periods; SizeWize does not promise a single deletion deadline for all provider-held records.
